Default HELP with 95 sevice engine soon light

I have a 95 OBD 1 with the OBD 2 conector.
All I have is a Hanes repair manual.
It only shows the OBD 1 conection not the OBD2 with the OBD 1 pins.
Problem is the pins are not in the same place.
I tried jumping the top 2 right whitch are not next to each other like the pic of the OBD 1 #1 and #3 from right. than nothing. So I then went to the two that are next to one another not far right, #3 ond #4 in from the right and the fan kicked on and no service engine soon light.
After unhooking the wires my light is now off but I need to know what wies to jump to get to the ground and diagnostics.

Also How do I clear the codes after a repair is done
Thanks all
