4 Way Hazard Question 1966

Hello all. The 4-way hazard illuminates at the pull knob. When the brake pedal is depressed, the front running lights, the brake lights, and the dash indicators all light, but no flashing action. When the brake pedal is released, only the pull knob is lit. Directionals work fine. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

check the flasher with a known good one and check your grounds

Thanks, FLvette for the response. I was able to get 'em working since my OP.
The problem was the hot lead to the flasher went missing. Once that was remedied, all is good. Thanks again.
