So if you need help figuring it out, here's the thread you need to take a look at -> http://www.corvetteflorida.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3581 Thank you, everyone! Rich Z.

New Chapter is forming

Many of us are members of other local & national Corvette organizations. However, due to our interest in solid axle cars, we often have more common interest with the '53-'62 crowd, than with the owners of newer Corvettes. With this in mind, we are inviting all Florida SACC members to join us in forming a regional chapter of SACC, called the Sunshine State Solid Axle Corvette Club (SSSACC). Membership in the chapter is open to all SACC members; however, we expect that most of the membership will be made up of Florida residents & "snowbirds." Regardless of where the members call home, we share a common connection. Members want opportunities to drive their cars, meet other owners, and learn more about the solid axle Corvettes they love! Therefore, it is the intent of the Florida chapter of SACC to create a venue for those activities. Possible events could include: regional or local Corvette shows, scenic road cruises (breakfast or lunch run), Corvette restoration shops, museum tours, weekend gatherings, workshops, etc.

If you have an interest in becoming a charter member of the Sunshine State Solid Axle Corvette Club, please complete & return the application form found on our website at www.sssacc.org. Or, better yet, stop by and visit us in the SACC tent at the January 21-24 NCRS Regional in Kissimmee, FL. In addition, we will be having a meeting in the SACC tent at Kissimmee on Friday, 22 Jan, at 4:30 PM to discuss the chapter and begin planning the event schedule for next year.

For additional details, please contact me off-line at sssacc-editor@sssacc.org.

Look for the SSSACC tent at the NCRS show this week at Old Town. It's right near the amusement rides & next to the NCRS T-shirt sales tent. There just may be a 57 or 61 sticking outta the tent, ya never know!

Our thanks to the Florida NCRS Chapter for providing the SACC tent at Kissimmee. We signed up 36 new members to the Sunshine Chapter of SACC. We now have members from the Pan Handle to Key West. In a day or so our new web site will be fully operational -- check us out at www.sssacc.org.
