Looks like they upgraded the strength of Hurricane Michael to a Category 5 level.

From the looks of things at Mexico Beach, I thought there would be little doubt about that from the beginning.

If it had more time and another 200 miles to go i think it would have been the worst ever with gust over 200mph.

Yeah, I'm not even in the least embarrassed that I decided to get out of Dodge on that one. I'm actually surprised that we didn't have more damage around here.

I actually took some video of Mexico Beach a while back. Have to find it and process it one of these days.
