2008 C6

Yeah, if I remember correctly, the C6s have the fuel pump mounted on top of the gas tanks. So that means pulling down the tank that might have a bad seal causing a leak and subsequent gas smell.

Does CarFax show dealer repairs?

It shows a bunch of trans service's and it was towed once for the trans cable that is known to break. My 2013 had to have the tank fixed for free back in 2018.

Car runs day and nite better now. Shifts are much better and feels much stronger. I think i will have him do headers and intake this fall. Just flat bed it to him and we will have it for around 3 days.

I took my C5Z out for a ride yesterday. I think it could use some more fine tuning on the low rpm/high vacuum range of the A/F tables. But I haven't messed with if for so long it would take me a while to get back into that mindset.

Wish someone competent would pop up around here somewhere.

I am sure he could do something but it's a long drive for you.

Shifter seems to get stuck from time to time. I think there is a fix where you take the thing apart and tie off the locking paw. This car had the cable replaced once way before i owned it.
