3rd Saturday of the month Cruise In

Yeah, I know there is a Cruise in at the Whataburger every third Saturday of the month, but darn if I haven't had something else to do every darn one lately. This one (September) there is a glass show in Sanford that Connie has been wanting to go for, so that's on the agenda.

Sorry to have to miss yet another one......

Well heck.... Things just fell apart on Friday so we didn't make our trip down south. Wound up waiting most the day for a delivery of perishable goods, and then around noontime, the skies opened up and it rained to beat the band. Things didn't look promising on Saturday for mid state, so we just scraped the whole plan.

Ran some errands all day Saturday and wound up being able to go to the cruise in after all. And we had a great time. So that dark cloud of a weekend definitely had a silver lining in it. :thumbsup:

Hopefully we'll be able to catch the next month's cruise in as well.

Hey Rich, glad that things worked out so that you could make. Also glad that you and Connie were able to go to dinner with us, maybe next time we can find a table large enough for all of us.

Maybe a place not quite so LOUD would be good, too. I honestly couldn't hear most of what anyone was saying there. Between the TVs and the people all trying to shout louder than the speakers in the ceiling, my ears were ringing when I came out of there.
