• Got the Contributing Memberships stuff finally worked out and made up a thread as a sort of "How-To" to help people figure out how to participate. I cut the size in half and put 2 on a page and took it to the local print shop here in town. Could probably do better at Kinko's in Fort Myers. Anyway, they charged 25 cents/page but I got 2 flyers from each page. Hope to get some passed out at the show Saturday. Hope the rain holds off :yesnod:
 
Well I ran by a local printer today to get some copies made up of the flyer. Will cost me $500 for 5,000 copies :ack2:. I figured that would be MORE than enough. Each additional 1,000 copies would cost only $32, but I can't see using up more than 5,000 of them.

Anyway, I guess it is better than the wear and tear on my Epson and all those cartridges it has been digesting lately. I guess 10 cents a pop isn't too bad, all things considered.

Still, I guess I need to beat the bushes to get some advertisers here so I am not digging myself into too deep of a hole over this site.... :shrug01:

Yeah, I knew you'd handle south Sarasota area and around, I'll concentrate on the Nokomis, Venice and south, areas. R
 
I went to the printer today and gave the approval on the sample. Not as sharp as the original, since they had to scan from my example, but it will do the job it is designed for. No one mounts and frames the things......

So I should have that batch of 5,000 flyers by Wednesday of next week. Hope I can get rid of them all......... Heck, how many Corvette owners do you think there are in Florida anyway?

OK! Just PM me with your mailing address. What I'll do is fill up one of the boxes I got made to ship 8.5x11 materials and send it to you. When you run out, send me another request........ :)

I know some of you have already sent me your mailing address, but please note that I find that I have to clean out the PM inbox rather frequently, so I may likely not have it on hand.

Got a few emails requesting a .PDF file of the flyer so they could be printed up by the recepient. If anyone is interested, here's the link to the .PDF file on my server. -> http://www.corvetteflorida.com/pics/cfl_flyer.pdf

Bear in mind that this file is over 4 megs, so anyone using dialup really shouldn't click on that link.... :rolleyes:

I'm planning on taking a bunch of the flyers to the UCP show this weekend, so if anyone wants some to distribute at other shows, please look me up and ask for a batch of them.

Do you have anyone who could run by the show? Not sure what this is going to be all about this weekend, so I can't plan on stopping by your shop, although I would REALLY like to.
