Caravan Roll Call

als2052

Road Trip!
Is there a list of who's going and what caravan (east or west coast) they are participating in?

I will be in the west coast caravan with my better half...

Wish I could, but this is happening just a year too early for us....

Traci and I...

will be at Ferman's on the 1st of September...to caravan out of Tampa. There may be one or two other cars from the "east" side. :hehehe:

There is another caravan from the Cape Kennedy Corvette Club (13 - 18 cars?) leaving in a smaller caravan from this side. This is their itinerary if interested:

Depart Thursday morning Sept 3rd at 6:30, 6:45 and 6:47AM.
Anticipate having three caravans, two will go east through Orlando and head north on Hwy 75 and the third north on Hwy 95 towards Jacksonville then head northwest until we turn onto 75 north at Tifton, GA. Arrive in Marietta, Georgia no later than 3:30PM thus missing Atlanta traffic. There will be no more than 8 cars in a caravan. This is for safety reasons, prevent congestion, and help prevent getting lost along the way. Once registered into the Drury in Marietta, Georgia (North of Atlanta) to relax, swim, enjoy ourselves prior to the complimentary happy hour at 5:30 PM. Restaurants are within walking distance with a Raceway across the street. Depart, Friday, September 4th, immediately after breakfast (provided by the Drury) arriving in Bowling Green, KY at approximately noon. The remainder of Friday touring the museum. On Friday, September 5th accommodations will be in Goodlettsville, TN. 35 minutes south on Hwy 65, at the new Country Inn and Suites. Their Grand Opening is July 15th . There is a complimentary room, reserved by the owner, for us to celebrate, so please bring your own booze (BYOB). There are plenty of restaurants, shopping mall and things to do in the immediate area. On Saturday morning, Sept 5th, depart the museum spending approximately fours hours before departing to the Drury in Marietta. The plan is to depart Sunday morning from Marietta arriving back home early Sunday afternoon.
