Hello all,

We need a good mechanic to get our 94' back on the road.

I know there are a few around, but can someone recommend a local to PC mechanic specializing in vettes?

Thanks in advance.

Jessie, tell us what's wrong with it, and maybe GMJunkie can let you know of a few ideas to fix the problems. By the way, :welcome: to the site!

Try calling Xtreme Motorsports http://www.motorsportsxtreme.com/ in Blountstown and tell them that you're a corvetteflorida member, describe the problems, and ask if they know anyone in Panama City that they could suggest. They might even be able to help you themselves!

Just find a good, honest mechanic. You don't need a "corvette specialist". You need a good, honest mechanic. There's nothing special or magical about a Corvette. There is (or was) a shop in PC that works on lots of vettes, but I know nothing about them.

Thanks everyone for the responses,

The vette has been off road for a few years and needs to be completely serviced: fluids drained, tranny (auto) and rear end fluid checks etc.

I don't really 'trust' just any mechanic to work on my vettes (we have 2) so I prefer someone referred.

I thought there was someone closer in town (PC) then blountstown (that's a bit far to have it towed).
