In 2006/07, this Corvette was restored (body on) and repainted the code correct Lynndale Blue. When you see this Corvette, you will think it was a recent restoration. That can be attributed to the fact the car has been driven only 100 miles since the restoration and was always trailered to various car shows. The restoration is very high quality and the chrome was triple plated (show chrome). The odometer shows 64,000+ miles and is believed to be correct.
The engine appears to be the factory original L68/400 horsepower tri-power. The JD suffix on the pad indicates this to be a rare Powerglide Corvette. That transmission and related hardware are in storage and come with the car. A Muncie 4-speed is in the Vette now. Documentation includes tank sticker and dealer invoice.
Not very many 1967 tri-power Corvette coupes were ordered with the C60 factory air conditioning option. The system is complete and certainly adds to the desirability of the Corvette.
The owner states the frame and birdcage are solid with no rust issues. The body appears to have all factory original panels. Look closely at the photos and you will see the panel gaps are very nice as well.
