Default 15" Rims on a 1985 ??

My son has an '85 that he want to race on the weekends. He currently has 17" wheels. He was wondering if he could use a set of 15" WeldWheel rims and still have enough brake clearence?

That combination should fit just fine. My 57 chevy has 1986 C4 suspension front and rear and I use 15x8 rally wheels to roll it around on until the car is finished.

Thanks! Looking at it, I see about an inch and a half of clearence. Going to 15 from 17 only reduces the radius by 1 inch.

Oh yeah, remember that 85's had 16 inch wheels from the factory. It was'nt till a few years later that 17's came out
