Freeze watch wednesday (03-15) night
Rats... Got a bunch of the citrus and other fruit trees blooming right now, and they are predicting a low of 30 degrees on Wednesday night (actually more like Thursday early AM). Wonder if it will brown out all the pretty dogwood blooms too?
Then by the weekend the highs will be back into the mid 70s.
Go figure.... 
Maybe Trump needs to build a wall on our northern border to keep those waves of cold air from coming down from Canada.

March used to be cold like this years ago. Had .50" of rain. We sure need more.

Yeah, it rained here all day on Monday. We needed it, too. I'm hoping the forecast is as wrong as it usually is about that low temp and it doesn't get that cold here. Connie JUST put in some tomato plants a few days ago, so we are going to have to cover them.

Global warming. My forecast shows 30-32 degrees but should have a 3 to 5 mph breeze. Maybe that will help.

Maybe they will flip the gloom and doom story back to the '70s when we were "threatened" with an impending ice age.....

Lowest i had this winter was 34. We don't even get to 32 or colder anymore.
May get to 38 tonite.

All in all, I guess it's just me, but I have yet to see any real downside to "global warming". But then again, I just HATE cold weather.
But I guess if the polar icecaps were to melt, there really might not be a real bright future in living in Florida. Not without having to wear scuba gear 24/7, anyway.
And just because people may have gotten use to the climatic conditions we have experienced most of our lifetimes is absolutely NO reason whatsoever for nature to have to continue that pattern. I imagine that insects that only live for a single warm season are quite shocked about the onset of cold weather when Winter arrives. In a similar vein, 70+ years in the big scheme of thing is really a tiny period of time in a range of a whole lot of possibilities stretched over eons.

My local weather sure has changed the last 28 years. No longer get normal summer rains. Go weeks without a drop and then get 30" in a months time.
Winters have been very warm the last 28 years other than 2010. The last 6 winters have been super warm.

Got down to 29.8 on my front porch overnight. I can see some plant damage, but haven't done a walk about to inspect most of the plants. Had lots of new growth coming out, which I am sure got knocked back. I hope it didn't ruin Connie's lemon production for the year.
One forecast I check is calling for a low of 32 with patchy frost again tonight.
