Default '67 Vert. for sale

Not mine.

http://sanantonio.craigslist.org/cto/2410496160.html

I looked at this yesterday.
NOM, 350, 4sp, 2nd owner (two owner car). Current owner has had car 20 years. Partial original tank sticker in plastic wrap. Car painted and refurbished 20 years ago. Good title.

Saint Louis body (4,***) build with a (8,***) serial number---correct. Correct paint code.

Very nice 15 footer.

1) paint---very, very nice appearance. Couple of small chips.

2) body---Appears to have all original panels and bonding strips.
All fender "lips" have small sections either cracked/partial missing/repaired
Front parking light panels were removed at one time and replaced during refurbishment
Left front lower fender "bumped" and repaired---"patch" repair on the inside---"crease" shows in paint
right front fender also repaired and shows "distortated" bonding seam (about 6" long)
Hairline stress cracks (very small) near headlight openings/topsurround edges/rear deck

3) frame---rust free, appears straight and un-hit save for what looks like a "curb" run over on the lower section of the right front rail (under the leading edge of the front door)

4) Birdcage---no visible signs of rust

5) Glass----original and nice

6) Mechinical---Later 350, runs and sounds great (estimate 350-400 hp)
4sp---did not check numbers
posi---did not check numbers
one caliber leaking-----Owner rarely drives car

7) electrical---all systems operational except clock, engine and dash wiring harnesses replaced during refurbishment. Headlights work properly.

8) chrome and stainless
Bumpers---very nice driver condition, no rust, no dents, good shine
Stainless---small scratches, no dents, will bulff out

9) interior----Very nice driver condition
Seat hockey sticks need chrome
Detailing needed----turn signal lever crusty, horn button needs paint, small pitting on knobs/dash/bezels/etc.
Replacement seat belts
No tears or excessive wear in seats
Carpet is very good driver condition with clear Vette floor mats

10) tires and wheels---
repop knock offs--nice
performance redline radials---look nice with minimal wear, but are old
3 of original rally wheels/trim rings/and centers (4) incluced--not sure what the spare is.

11) soft top----very nice driver condition

Non original Jack/handle, hurst shifter, maybe repop rear interior quarter panels, one crack repaired on steering wheel, door hinges need bushings/pins, window felts in need, weather stripping good driver condition, front end rubber worn/old, rear pig "crusty" appearance, replacement wiper arms (did not check wiper motor operation).

Overall impression:
Nice driver '67 convertible.

"15 footer" means it looks like a show car until you get "up close and personal".
