STS Rear Mount Turbo Lag Demonstration

Not too much of a lag that I can see, but when he gets off of it, it goes down like a rock!

The blowoff valve does that. You actually WANT that to happen, because once the throttle body plate closes the turbos will still be producing boost that can cause damage without someway to escape. Not to mention that when you take your foot off of the accelerator pedal, you normally really want the engine to rev down. That would be difficult to do with boost still being applied by the turbos.
