Very Intersting

Ouch, someone is upset. Reminds me of when the whole "internet" started to become real popular, GM's evil lawyers were telling "GM/Corvette fan" web site operators they had to pay a $500 licensing fee or shut down their site. Talk about biting the hand that feeds you.
 
Sounds to me like the legal process cost more than the value of the S-10. Other options were available like trading in the POS back to a dealer for a more reliable form of transportation. A short term loss would have been a long term gain.
