ROLL CALL

Who's :vette: over to the "other side" in three weeks to show their car. After what my brother-in-law accomplised yesterday :banghead: (50/50 & 1st in Class):banghead: , I am out for revenge :reddevil: All kidding aside, his C5 was very worthy (:toetap05: Dont know about the 50/50 though). I will be staying over there on Friday so will meet whoever goes over on Saturday.


So right now we have 2 car going, do I hear 3 ??

Wow! 50/50 and 1st in class!! What year is his?? Congrats to him. :thumbsup: Anybody else in our club win? Who took club participation, Naples? Here's a pic of his vette:

I'm in, cant wait this will be the first show I have attened since I purchased the Vette. Hope to meet some fellow members.
 
Less than a week to go :dancer01: - only a small handfull of the SWFCC crew attending :toetap05: - This event is generating alot of activity on the CF :shrug01:

The weather looks like low to mid seventies with partly cloudy skies and rain @ 10%. You cant beat that. :thumbsup:
 
Car Show Recap

Well for those who did not go, you missed a good car show. Great weather, very good turnout. The SW contingent of car clubs (Tampa Bay Vettes, Corvettes on the Gulf, Corvettes of Naples as well as our club was represented). BTW, 2nd Place in Stock C5 and 1st Place in Stock C6 were awarded to fellow SWfCC club member Jim Brackett and yours truly respectively. This car show is sure to grow even more next year due to this year's success so stay tuned...

:thumbsup: I heard on the radio this morning about a show in Lehigh Acres, so since I am down here by myself for this trip, I took a ride over and bumped into a bunch of SW guys. Probably about 6 or 7 cars. I talked for a few minutes with Rudy and Dan since I remembered them from the cruise to Felda.

Hey Rich!! You've got internet now?? I had to work today. When I got off I drove Robert over there but it was after 4 and most cars were gone. Glad you got to meet some folks.

Actually, one of the reasons I made the trip was to setup a make shift office (laptop, cable modem, and a chair) so that I can do some office stuff while I am down here. Got the modem setup this morning with a lot less difficulty than I had expected and had some time to do a little cruising. I had left the house for about 10 minutes when I heard about the show on the radio. Not very large but a bunch of guys from SW Florida Corvette Club. I talked to Rudy (54) and Dan (Red 79?) for about 15 minutes. I think I left the show around 1:00.

Well, doing some office stuff tomorrow and then flying back to the cold weather Tuesday mid day. I'll try to see you on our next trip back. Should be early March.
