What you guys know about trucks?

Duallies to be exact.

I've been thinking of getting a new work truck and ran across a 04 chevy 3500 dually the otherday. It was impressive compared to the 95 dodge I drive now, it rode so smooth and quite I couldn't believe it. I just really don't think I want a dually and was wondering what the advantage of a dually would be over a standard truck if any.

I could maybe see the advantage to the dually for off road purposes or pulling a huge fifth wheel trailer where you had alot of weight up over your bed but I mostly use it to haul a open utility trailer pulling 7-8,000lbs at most.

So what are your thoughts/experience on this?
