Default Trash on the roadways

What the hell is wrong with people? They can't carry a trash bag in their vehicles with them and instead have to throw their trash out the windows whenever and whereever they feel like it? Connie and I walked down the road (a public easement) through our property the other day and it's sickening to see all the garbage people have thrown out on our land. So I grabbed my camera and intend to go to one of my county commisioners to see what can be done about it. If the county can't keep my land clean from the people who use this easement, then they can just close the damn thing.

It's sad to see what society has become. No appreciation for one of the most beautiful parts of Florida, once an unspoiled paradise.

My pet peeve is the people who throw cigarettes out the window. They think they are so disgusting that they can't leave them in their own ashtray, yet they smoke in their car! WTF?? The fiberglass filters last forever in the environment but the piles and piles of cigarettes at stop lights never gets through their thick heads!

Even worse is the dopes that will throw out cigarettes in areas with drought conditions and start fires. Happens here in Florida all of the time along route 95 during the dry season.

Here's a quote from one Mr. Andy Anderson.....................
"Some people are not content to just be born an a$$hole.............
they have to prove it to the rest of the world on a daily basis!"
And so it goes............................
I'm in the same boat with you Rich, but the only way they can be stopped is
to be removed from the gene pool and THAT'S not likely to happen.....

Yes, that kind of thing burns me up too. The ditch in front of my parents' house has enough trash to fill a large garbage bag in about 30' of its length. If you clean it out, it will be back like that in a matter of days. I wish I could find some of the people that do this and dump a couple of bags in their front yards. Or better yet inside their cars.

I've been guilty a couple times when I was a young man .I tosses a used condom out of my mothers car before she found it .The second time was I tossed a live skunk into the back seat of another car.I'm deeply ashamed and I now re frame from even spitting gum out .

Yes it is a growing problem as I travel our highways I notice more and more trash ,very inconsiderate .

I live next to a high school, school season it's a mess. I pick up the trash Tuesday and Friday afternoons so it looks decent on the weekends.

I lived next to another high school before where it was even worse and asked nicely at the office a couple times without anything being done. Then I started bringing the garbage to the office once a week and dumping it on the floor and walking out. That got their attention!

I'm surprised they didn't have YOU arrested for littering.
