On Saturday, May 30, 2009, the Corvettes of Naples will be hosting an open car, truck and motorcycle show at Rick Treworgy's Muscle Car City Museum in Punta Gorda. This show is being presented for the benefit of the Gabriel House in Ft. Myers, Florida. Rick has over 200 cars on display in the museum, a speed shop, retail facilities, and a 50s style dinner/cafe. There will be 144 awards presented. Please see the attached Show flier/entry form for details. Send all registrations to the Premium Car Shows address listed on the form. If you have any questions, you can contact Glenn Hutchinson, Pres. CoN at 239-910-2027 cell or 239-772-0705. You can also send me a PM and I will try to get you any information you might need.

Everyone has been talking about getting to Rick's new museum. Well, here is your chance to see the museum and attend a car show too.

I posted this thread for my club, the Corvettes of Naples, not to just help the club out, but because this event is for the benefit of the Gabriel House. The Gabriel House is a unique facility located in Ft. Myers that rescues children that have been abandoned, discarded and are in need of medical attention. If you would like to help, attend the event and help the Gabriel House. But, if you are more interested in some forum politics, this thread is not the place. Please take it to another thread.

An x-member at Corvette Forum use to have this site under their Avatar all the time.

Over there you can not change member title.
 
i beg to differ. i had this website under my avatar for a long time then one day i get a PM from Savewave saying it along with my "babe" avatar were against the rules. So they were removed i assume by Savewave.

I believe you can ask pewter this as he was CC the PM as well.

So i changed my avatar, yet see many "babe" avatars still on that forum.

whatever...

let's get this thread back on topic!

I have no problem with CF, I just don't post much over there anymore. So, thanks for you help over there. Glenn had mentioned to me that he had already posted something on CF and I told him that I would take care of it here. My issue is that this is a charity event and I don't want a p*ssing contest going on between members of either forum in the middle of this thread. That will only hurt the show and in the end, the Gabriel House and the kids. If you could see the kids that this charity helps, you would be just as concerned about this issue as I am. They have a child that was born with no legs. Just last year, they took in a child that was born blind and without eyes. This is the sort of kids that this facility helps. This is a special place and this is one of the reasons why the Corvettes of Naples devotes our time trying to help this charity.

So, if Pewter wants to make an issue of how this forum is run, I don't have a problem with that either, just do it in another area and don't hurt these kids.
