Possibly.... The new server is all set up and I just need to move the site there.

May take place this evening (09/05/07) depending on what the heck happens around here.

So at a moment's notice, you may find the site closed for the duration. Shouldn't be more than an hour or so, I'm expecting.....:rolleyes: Yeah, right.... since when has anything like this ever gone smoothly for me.... :banghead:
 
No,No, not a shut down :sillyme: what will everyone do for an hour, or maybe things will go bad and take a hour an ten minutes ;ahh:

And this could happen anytime--I'm still working on obtuse
 
:mad: Arrghhh.. No, you didn't miss it. I'm not sure I'm gonig to be happy with this other server company I'm going to. It took them 4 days to get my server set up, and they were supposed to do the site transfers for me as part of the package. SO maybe this is going to be like jumping from the frying pan, into the fire, then off the edge of a cliff.....
 
Always go with your gut feeling. Today has been one of the smoothest in weeks here for me. Go Figure
 
OK, the move is over. Got tired of waiting for the server host to contact me about it, so I did it myself inbetween feeding snakes.

Please let me know if anything odd happens. And most importantly, let me know if this made a difference in speed. Especially when posting replies....
