An Italian, a Scotsman, and a Chinese fellow are hired at a construction site. The foreman points out a huge pile of sand and says to the Italian, "You're in charge of sweeping."
To the Scot he says, "You're in charge of shoveling." To the Chinese guy he says, "You're in charge of supplies." He then says, "I have to leave for a while. I expect you guys to make a big dent in that there pile."
The foreman leaves, comes back in a couple of hours to find that the sand pile is untouched. He asks the Italian, "Why didn't you sweep any of it?"
The Italian replies, "I no hava broom. You saida to Chinese fella that he wasa in charge of supplies, but he no here and I coulda no finda him."
The foreman turns to the Scotsman and says, "And you. I thought I told you to shovel this pile!"
The Scotsman replies, "Aye, ye did lad, boot ah couldnay get meself a shoovel! Ye left the Chinese gadgie in chairge of supplies, boot ah couldnay fin' him either."
The foreman is really mad now and storms off toward the pile of sand, looking for the Chinese guy. Just then, the Chinese man leaps out from behind the sand pile and yells, "SUPPLIES!!!!"
