Not a new position on Starbucks' part but the issue of the coffee giant standing its ground regarding open carry is in the news again. By simply not trying to re-write state law; allowing their patrons and employees to exercise 2nd Amendment rights, Starbucks is under attack with demonstrations and boycotts from anti-gun groups. On the brighter side of the topic, pro-gun groups are also demonstrating in support of Starbucks AND the Starbucks organization reiterated its position from last year when it first said they will abide by the law which allows open carry.
