General BS forum I guess this will be for anything that would seem to be off topic in any other forum here. Just general shootin' the breeze kind of topics. |

Anyone tryed the basic $300 TomTom navagation system ? I'm a very simple guy and intend to stay that way. I believe all this stuff gets outdated before you hardly get to figure em out.

I bought the Garmin 430 just before the Ponta Gorda Show. I elected the 430 over the 330 because it speaks the name of the street rather than just saying turn left, it will say Turn left on Pace Street NW. I found it very helpful when I was going back and forth to the hotel. I used it find restaurants and even the different auto parts stores. I really like it.

I got a Magellan 3000 about 3 weeks ago, and I'm sold on it (and GPS's in general) completely. I guess that there is a learning curve with all of them, but this one didn't seem to be all that difficult.

Actually if you already have a laptop computer, you can simply buy a copy of DeLorme Street Atlas along with a GPS antenna that plugs into a USB port. Pretty handy to have on trips.....

I have two Garmin units...one 330 and one Nuvi 350....both these products work great and I would recommend them to anyone interested in a GPS.

I can't believe my eyes... Grown men asking for directions !!! Whats next? Washing dishes, doing the laundry ??? And you Corvette Concepts, you need
TWO direction finders ? You can't find your way with just one, you need a backup ?
