Z06Fever! Well, why not? Having one of these toys is definitely an illness for which there is no cure, so let's talk about this specific malady.

Default NEED URGENT ADVICE: Will the 2004/2005 CTS-V LS6 Long Block Fit Easily in My 2001 Z06

I am seriously thinking of purchasing this LS6 CTS-V Long Block for my 2001 Corvette Z06 as a project motor that I'm going to build while running my current engines in a few club events and SCCA events here in Florida. I realize that this engine has the CTS-V oil pan but I am wondering if the accessory holes are there for when I take the pulleys off of my Z06 and put them on the long block. I've included a link with info on the engine and if you have the answer can you point me in to evidence that this is the case by providing first hand knowledge or a link that validates your advice? I don't want to buy this motor and find out it's a hassle for it to work easily in my 01 Z06 application.

Link to View Motor: http://jacksonville.craigslist.org/pts/1276103583.html

I am suppose to go look at the engine tomorrow so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Default Great Advice

Thank you to the last poster who pointed me to AntiVenom, Greg knew exactly the answer and now we're going to build a 450 rwhp track/street engine. Thanks again.
