Code correct Riverside Red exterior, Red/Black leather interior, White convertible top. 425hp 383ci GM ZZ383 crate engine, Keisler/Tremec TKO 600 5 speed manual transmission w/overdrive. Originally assembled on December 2, 1962, this 1963 Corvette Restomod Convertible has seen some serious mechanical mechanical upgrades, and is ready to hit the cruise scene. This car was purchased from us a few years ago, at which point the new owner decided to invest $40,000 in the engine, transmission, brakes, and suspension to ensure that this car would be able to keep up with modern Corvettes. This car's paint is older, and in overall good condition with a good shine. Convertible top looks to be a few years old as well, but is also in good condition with a good window and no major stains. Chrome bumpers are in good to very good condition with no dings or rust. Exterior door handles are in good condition with some typical light pitting, but function well with no issues. The weatherstripping on this 1963 Corvette Restomod Convertible is in fair to good condition, and the taillights are in overall good condition with no cracks. This car wears a set of polished aluminum custom offset Billet Specialties wheels, which measure 17x7 in the front, and 17x8 in the rear. These wheels are in excellent condition with no curb rash, and wear sticky Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3 tires with an average of 9/32nds tread depth remaining. Originally all Red vinyl, the interior of this 1963 Corvette Restomod Convertible is still mostly Red, but now with leather seats and Black loop carpet. These seats look to be older, but are still in good condition with no rips or tears. Dash pads are in very good condition with no cracks, and the door panels and center console are in good condition. Gauges are in very good condition with little to no fading and relatively clear lenses. Carpet is recent and in very good condition. Seatbelts look to be new, and a smaller diameter steering wheel with a black vinyl rim has been added, in addition to a Custom Auto Sound cassette stereo. As for the engine compartment, this 1963 Corvette Restomod Convertible is all business, starting with a GM ZZ383 crate engine. Attached to this engine is a Tremec TKO 600 5 speed manual transmission with the Keisler install kit. New offset trailing arms have been installed to clear the larger wheels and tires, and the front and rear suspension has been rebuilt with polyurethane bushings. Power brakes and power steering have also been added, including a Wilwood 4 piston caliper, 4 wheel disc conversion with slotted and drilled rotors, as well as all new brake lines. Other additions to this car include an Edelbrock Performer intake manifold with high-polished Endurashine coating, chrome single wire alternator, coated Hedman longtube sidemount headers with factory style exhaust, Holley double pumper carburetor, BeCool aluminum radiator, electric fan, Edelbrock Pro-Flo air cleaner, MSD Pro Billet distributor, MSD ignition box, MSD ignition coil, MSD 8.5mm ignition wires, billet aluminum water outlet, billet aluminum crankshaft pulley, stainless steel upper radiator hose, polished oil dipstick, Powermaster high-torque mini starter, and a billet aluminum water pump pulley. Frame is clean and detailed, and of course solid and rust-free.
