Super clean, well maintained 2006 Chevrolet Corvette Z06: originally a Florida car, now in NC. 38k miles, 7.0 liter LS7 V8, 6 speed manual transmission. Finished in Velocity Yellow over Ebony Black. Loaded with power heated leather memory driver seat, heated manual passenger seat, Bose audio, navigation, power windows/locks/mirrors, cd player, cruise control, keyless entry/alarm, traction/stability control with Competition mode, dual zone climate control etc.
This car's modifications are minimal, and only items that needed improvement were changed. In the last 1000 miles, my C6Z has received a complete top end overhaul from the local GM motorsport specialty shop, Mayhem Motorsports: full head rebuild using upgraded valvetrain and a mild, street friendly camshaft from Brian Tooley. This car idles perfectly with the BTR 2 cam and will cruise at 1300 RPM with the AC on in sixth gear with no ill effects from the larger camshaft. It made 500 wheel horsepower and 450 wheel torque (on a 90+ degree day) with all factory emissions components in place; including the stock manifolds and catalytic converters. Additional upgrades include the Akrapovic dual mode titanium cat-back exhaust, which is 38 pounds lighter than stock. It has a "mild to wild" exhaust controller, which allows the driver to toggle between a quiet and loud setting on command. The wheels are from a 2015 Z06, and are in excellent shape. Sized 19x10, 20x12 with a 295 / 335 staggered tire, which are in great shape with 75% tread or more remaining. The oil was changed 500 miles ago, The alignment is a conservative one, and was performed 200 miles ago. Cosmetic damage virtually nil. This car is a 9/10.
Clean title, clean Carfax and new state inspection. $5000 dollars in receipts on hand for the recent service and tuning. The exhaust alone retailed for $4500+ and is now discontinued. I have decided to sell this car due to a loss of garage space - I have two C6s and, now, room for only one. This car is too nice to sit outside. I will consider trades for all kinds of cars and trucks, and I prefer trades + cash. An C5 with a bunch of mods would be ok, perhaps something prepped for HPDE or autocross. Trucks, an M3, M5 an older Cayman S, MB E55 or E63, whatever. I'm really ok with a variety of potential trades, as I co-operate a local dealership in town, and can easily sell something I am not interested in. That said, I am happy to work with your lender of choice or to arrange shipping: Basically, no matter where you're at, I can probably make the transaction painless.
