Once the mount is 100% done it will stay out side. And the three telescope tubes i use i will just carry out and put on the mount.

I traded the very big scope i posted a pic of a while back for the scope you see in the pics today. The OTA is around 70lbs and the mount is around 350lbs. I don't think anyone would be able to steal the mount outside since no one would know how it comes apart and taking the whole thing would take three people.

So, was your trade of the larger scope a tradeoff of capability and ease of managing moving around that larger beast? Did you lose much capability with the smaller scope?

Looking forward to seeing what sort of photos you can get from that thing.
