We got 0.18" this morning, but the sun did come out this afternoon. Got water in our temporary pond down near the large bamboo grove with a couple of box turtles soaking themselves in the water.
I imagine mosquitoes might start becoming a problem. Actually had a few yellow flies buzzing Connie and myself too.

Got 2.98" of rain Saturday evening and night. LOTS of lightning and thunder too.
Here I was thinking I was going to have to water the fruit trees on Sunday.

Yeah, we are definitely in a wet weather pattern now. Got 0.60" of rain yesterday, and it is raining right now.
It is times like this that I think about just selling the vettes, since I don't really want to drive them on our muddy road anyway. As it is, I'm worried that when my C5Z gets finished that I won't be able to bring it home right away because it would mean mud bogging it just to get it back to our driveway and into the garage.

Just been very hot and DRY here. Been having to water the fruit trees. The grass us drying up, and it seems more like May here than September. Nothing in the forecast seems very promising, neither.
