It is hard to overstate the relevance of the 1963-1967 models in the Corvette genre... Later called C2, Mid-year, the Sting Rays (two words) are coveted today by enthusiasts and collectors due to their unique appeal and (seemingly) endless possible combinations of options. Most of these cars are now restored and it is getting harder to find a lower price one. Well, worry no more... Here is a great example of a 1964 Convertible with a great potential of a starter Vette for potential restoration, resto-mod... or even a daily driver in its present condition.
It is endowed with a non-original 327 engine mated with a manual 4-speed transmission. Both perform very well. Originally Riverside Red, it is now painted Dark Red in "fair-to-poor" condition. Body appears in good condition with no apparent or appreciable damage. Nose is not patched or pieced. Headlights roll over and work great. It was born with Hard Top (lacking rear bow latch holes in the flip lid) . Bird cage is clean, frame is very solid with only minor surface rust (no heavy scales or holes). Interior is original and quite presentable . Recently a new correct gauge cluster dash was installed and new carpet (see pics 20-24).
