Thanks, We pretty much have it set down between Knoxville and Chattanooga and all points between. In Knoxville, we'll have 4 seasons. The average high temp during the summer is 77*, average low temp in winter is 29*. Obviously I understand that is just the average and will likely have a few spells in both directions. They average less than 10 inches of snow a year. No state income tax. Cost of living index is 87.5 with the average U.S. at 100. Knoxville is the center of the east coast.

Heck, I have a shipment going out to Utah this week and the temps are getting above 100 there!

As for moving, heck I moved out of Maryland back in '91 and there is just no way in hell you will EVER get me to move back to a place that gets any snow. Yeah it gets hot in the summer here, but in the winter months I can still do just about anything I want outside without my earlobes beginning to freeze. When I live in Maryland, basically November thru March were out of the picture for enjoying ANY activities outside. Yeah, you might get a spell where the temps would get into the 70s for a few days, but that was rare and not to be counted on if you had a particular date in mind.

Honestly if there was a perfect place to live, EVERYONE would already be there.

Hey, the snowbirds got this thing figured out. I went to Waynesville/Cherokee, NC ten years ago. Didn't mind winter until about three years ago, then I got my Z and coming back to FL started looking real good. If I could do so, I would be in Virginia or North Carolina about six months a year and down here the rest of the time..I'm back and lov'in it despite the heat, plus most all my immediate family is here on the Gulf Coast...........Tom

But what there is, is a perfect place for everyone.
