I believe you are ridiculing the situation where the young school girl shaped a breakfast pastry into the shape of a gun and got in trouble with the school.

I'm ridiculing the situation as a whole. This "gun ban" stuff is nothing but a knee jerk reaction taken by people that don't have any idea what they should do. They do however, feel obligated to do something even if it's wrong.

I wasn't specifically, but it certainly sounds like a situation that deserves ridicule...

This is obviously an attempt to start weeding the new generations of children off of guns by instilling the notion that guns are bad. It's basically just a form of brain washing.

Quite frankly, if this "gun-free school zones" law is federal, it is unconstitutional. Unless you are crossing a state line, the federal government has absolutely NO jurisdiction over someone going onto a school's property.
