am looking for the location of the Ambient Air Temp Sensor on 1986E

also I have to 2 fans one up front does not seem to come on as it suppose to and the one on the rear of the radiator which does
the fan on the front works i tested it but I feel I have a wiring issue I have managed to get the temp down by using from eckler the cooling fan switch which comes on at 195 - off at 180 degrees and has seem to work plus swapping out the thermostat.
hwy 170 but thru down town it heads to the progamed setting 220 on just the rear fan as I sit in traffic but once moving she cools down
am trouble shooting my wire harness tracing the wires to the two different fan relays yet I am unable to find the ambient air temp sensor and being I don't see it anyway I wonder if it has not been removed by the person I had bought this car from.. so if anyone here knows the location t where it is suppose to be like to hear from you ty
