Default Harpers Ferry, WV

We are heading up there this week, wondering if anyone had any ideas of things to see and do. We may try to get into DC, since its about an 1 1/2 hour drive from there. Thanks for any info.

I've heard that the Cherry blossums arrive in D.C. end of March and first week of April.

We went there last summer, beautiful place and many things todo, hiking paths through the battlefields, lots of shopping and good food. It feels like ur back in the 1860's.

Thanks jlr1516, we are looking forward to it. Ray (ynkedad) is a big time history nut, should be right up his alley.

Classy...I'll save a spot in my suitcase...... will take lots of pics and share when we get back.

Your getting up into my old neck of the woods. Since Yankee is a history buff, you also might want to take a ride up to Gettysburg, Pa. It really is a reasonable drive from Harpers Ferry.

Have a good time!
