Default Love bugs Spring 2018

Connie and I drove down to Crystal River on Friday, along route 98 and hit several patches of love bugs along the way.

So fyi that it is that time of year again.

We've had them on the interstate (I-10) now for about two weeks. They're pretty light though. Probably from the lack of rain. I'm glad to see the cool morning temps staying around for this long. That helps too.

The Jeep's windshield and front end got pretty plastered with them. Had to wash the Jeep when we got back home. The Jeep is about as aerodynamic as a brick, so it is probably a worst case scenario when driving through love bug clouds.
