A category 1 is nothing to take lightly. Connie and I were in Daytona Beach when Charlie blew straight through there. I believe the center went right over top of us. On the twelfth floor of a hotel, you could feel the entire building rocking in the wind and the glass doors bowing in from the winds. Knocked the power out all over the place, and LOTS of car damage from blowing debris.

I'm thinking if it gets bad enough my lovely wife Carrie will have to don her Kermit the frog suit and go to work while I stay home and protect the ice and beer supply, damn the luck but ya know somebody's got to do it (protect the beer I mean). Anyone care to head to mid state area? Shadow? (got Rum) .Ray, Rob Mary?

Ken, if we have to didi, I'm packing the rum and margarita mix and heading your way

I've been here all my 51 years, Haven't been too far off many times (only takes one though).

Was right on target with Charlie and the others that blew through central Florida as well as some others.

Take a look at the SWAG map, aka: the spagetti models

My prediction....the red line......

Think I'll stay where I'm at for a while

But keep your supplies at hand and be ready to bunker down! 85 mph winds (and the potential for tornadoes) is nothing to take lightly!

Looks like some of the squiggles changed quite a bit on the spaghetti map.. Looks like the storm is afraid of snakes and staying away from my neck of the woods.....
