The front moved through here early AM, along with a good downpour. Temps are holding at 56 degrees, but we'll be covering the citrus again for the next three nights. Not sure the covers will stay on, however, as there is some wind associated with the cold temps.

Hi.
Can´t belive what I read... yesterday the wife and I booked a flight to Miami, and rentede a convertible. No need for a car like that. Do you know if the weather gets better in a short time?

Ole, the weather in Florida changes quite quickly, but you can check the 5 day
forecast at http://www.wunderground.com/cgi-bin/...Select=WEATHER
You might even want to plan a trip south through the Florida Keys as well. It's
usually warmer in the Keys, the drive south to Key West is wonderful, and there seems
to be a neverending tropical breeze. I've been to the Keys twice, and plan on going
back more. Enjoy your stay, and please, for the benefit of all of the Florida residents.................

Going to get right chilly tonight, probably dropping into the teens in some spots here in north Florida. Temps here just barely reached 41 degrees and are dropping already.

A balmy 47 degrees here in beautiful Tampa, cloudy and windy 
Ole, as Andy said, consider a trip through the southern part of the state, from Sarasota South through the Keys. Beautiful scenery, beaches, restaurants, lots to see and do, and a damned sight better weather!!!
And as he also mentioned, Florida is a 5 mile or 5 minute state.
If you don't care for the weather, drive 5 miles, or wait 5 minutes, it'll probably change
Friday's forecast for the Tampa Bay area:74 as a high and 58 as a low. partly cloudy.

Hi Andy and Shadow - and all the other members.
Thank you for your advice. We took the drive south to the keys in 2005 , this time we are planing a trip to Sarasota and Clearwater. I´m going to visit VetteBreak and P in S. Petersburg as well. Driving an C3 they have something I might need. I promise to spend all I can affort. About the weather we can hope for a change to warmer temp.

It will warm up Thurs, 65 for Tampa. So warmer down south.
