2x3 steel, sawzall, and a drill press is all i needed. friend of mine owns a restoration shop. he is welding the bolts to the steel and then painting them. i'll get pictures when they are done.

already have a plan for this. going to cut the over axle pipe and extend it, then cut the x-pipe shorter to match.
i'm all done. it drives fine. have some harmonics. could be the exhaust that's still just touching on the driver's side or the solid mounts that's ive read about. will get it figured out after i fix the exhaust.
anyone have some stock mufflers laying around? i need the over axle pipe only.

I've got a set of the titanium Z06 mufflers that came off of the blue C5Z that I have had for sale forever now. At least I think my ad for them is still around somewhere.

Welding titanium might be an issue. After all this time I had my thread on corvette forum about this swap, two people finally said yeah we had to cut 3" off the xpipe and add it to the muffler.
