we will definitely be there on sunday
have not joined TBV yet but figured this cruise and trip would be a good first visit! I thought it was just a breakfast cruise. Did not realize it included Solomon's Castle. I have been wanting to go there for years!

This is our C5. She has a brand new red top now though and tinted windows.

The wonderful man we bought our car from included it in our purchase. It had not been painted though. My husband took it to Carsmetics on Dale Mabry Monday and they painted it. They did an absolutely amazing job and it is a perfect match. Apparently they have a really cool computer that samples different parts of the car for color. They showed my husband how it worked and he was impressed.
As for the tops I think you can pick them up pretty reasonably on ebay. Fun thing with the top is we have the "new car" smell again

Tampa Bay Vette’s in the Brandon 4th of July Parade

Sign up now to be a part of the Brandon 4th of July Parade. That's Wednesday 4th of July at 10:00 AM. If you haven’t done a parade yet, these are a lot of fun with thousands of screaming fans all along the parade route. Let’s get a long line of our cars in this event and show them just who we are. All car’s will be decorated with 4th of July colors and if you start planning now, you can develop your own theme. Our own Vicki Carden is the Event Leader and you should reply to her at cardenvl@yahoo.com to get registered.

 Here’s what Vicki has to say about the event::thumbsup:

:dancer01: Be a part of the fabulous Brandon 4th of July Parade. Held on Tuesday July 4th at 10am. We will meet approximately 8:30am behind Hooters in Brandon to caravan over to the parade route.

:dancer01: Cars are required to be decorated for 4th of July/American Flag with a red/white/blue color theme. You may throw or give out Candy but this parade does not allow beads to be thrown.

:dancer01: The Club had a great turn out last year and we all had a wonderful time. We can have approximately 12-13 vehicles in the parade. We will need to have a head count as soon as possible. We also need two people to walk with our banner...if we can't get any of the adults to walk, possibly we can get a couple of teenage children whose parents are in the club to help with the banner. Please contact me as soon as possible.

Please email me if you are interested at cardenvl@yahoo.com

Should you have any questions, please call Vicki Carden at 813-477-3241

*******************************************************************************************************************

Afterwards, we will all meet at either Hooters or Barlyhoppers for lunch and refreshments. Be there or be square!
