Hi everyone,

I am looking at buying a corvette that is in the Tampa area. Autocheck found an accident reported on it number of years ago, so I reaaaaaly wanted it checked out by a vette mechanic to see if there are any problems with it. I'm up in Atl, GA so it is tough for me to do anything. the car is located in northern suburbs of tampa. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Help on the Way!!

Call "Andrah" at (813) 960-3908......Discuss having the Corvette taken to him and inspected. Andreh has a shop in North Tampa and is one of the best Corvette Specialist in our area. He also has several Corvettes for sale. I have shown below a picture of his saturday Night Corvette Car Shows at his shop. Give him a call!!!!....Trust me!!!.....The Pewter Vette in picture is the "SilverBullet".....my ride!!
.
.
P.S.: I also would be happy to look at the Vette for General Appearance etc.
Send me a "PM" and information on Vette and how to get a hold of the owner.
:shrug01: You never did say what the Vette was or year....Some of us in Tampa may know the Car, since we live in North Tampa also.:dancer01:

As Jim mentioned, I have Andreh as the "go to" guy for mechanical inspections.

I'm in NW Hillsborough County near the Veterans Expressway north of Carrollwood. I'll be happy to also take a look at it appearance wise. Also, if you get me the crash info. I'll see what I can find on the actual crash.

Might have been a minor fender bender vs a real lets destroy this car TODAY! kind of crash:eek: :rofl1:

I'll be out of town today through sunday but I'll be happy to look at it sunday or thereafter if you like or I'll go with Jim as his baackup:thumbsup: :yesnod:

THanks Guys I appreciate the help. I have not been able to get the crash info. Floida DMV requires name of a driver, date and county in which it occured. I ony have the date reported on Autocheck. This was 2 owners ago so I have not been able to track down the name or county.

It also looks like I have upset the seller because I implied that there might be something wrong with the car, because it was selling so quickly amongst owners and was in an accident and I wanted to have it inspected by a mechanic. He has now decided not to sell and to put in storage for his daughter. Oh well.

I have a line on one in Detroit now, so we will see what happens.

There is another one down in Tampa, but it is second to the one in Michigan at this point.

Again, thanks all for you help.

Sounds to me like one best avoided along with the seller.

If he's that skiddish to having it inspected, then I'd avoid him like the clap!

I've got 1 or 2 connections to find out the crash data;) so if you need it, just let me know?

I agree, why would you wanting to get it looked at make him change his mind and suddenly put it into storage? FISHY:ack2:

Looking for Automatic 1999 Coupe. Less than 50K miles. See now here is the kicker. My wife loves the Navy Blue. Oh yeah that was rare for that year.
