Default CorvetteFlorida windshield decal

Yeah, I know, I said I wasn't going to do this......... But heck, am I going to promote this site or not?

So, to hell with it....... I'm going to go with the windshield (and back window) decal idea.

Besides, this will give me even MORE reason to drive it around!!

Of the two, I just find that the top one (#3) just catches my eye the best....

I like #3 better too. It would have to be the static cling kind for me though. Nothing permanent since I have enough going on already with my paint and such. I don't want the car getting too busy to the eye.

I like the first one too. It's not as thick.

Actually, seriously, I was thinking about checking into how much an ad in Vette Magazine would cost me. They seem to be kind of oriented towards Florida to some extent anyway, so it may be a good fit.

I'm going to get some smaller decals (like only 1 foot in length) to give out to anyone interested in them. Probably only get a handful, since I have no idea if anyone would do this or not. Those 4 foot long decals are kind of expensive for me to be buying a bunch of them to give away. Not that I think anyone would actually put them on their vehicle anyway. I'm probably the only one insane enough to do that!

These are not static cling, however, and apparently stick via an adhesive.

I like the one on top better than the other. I'm not too crazy on the fonts though. Let me know if you want something else. I download fonts all time.

Ok, now that I have hit 1,000 posts, I can go to bed!

I'm kinda with the static cling idea myself. How about a small round or ?? "clingy" that would stick on the windshield where the inspection stickers used to go or on the rear class somewhere. Could be removed or transferred to other vehicles, less obtrusive and still get the word out. Also cheaper to build

Our Corvette club has them and they're sweet!

As far as the ones you have, i kind of like the top one the best.

I have a bold one like you bottom one on my Z28 that bears the name of our F-body group.

It's in red against all black and looks nice, but sometimes I go ????

Oh well, like you, I started this Camaro & Firebird group and felt required to promote it

Well, I just ordered two each of the front and back decals. Figured I should get backups in case I screwed up the install on my car. Probably going to be a pain in the butt to do.

I also ordered 20 of the non-curved decals that are just 8 inches long just in case I can think of a use for them or anyone else wants one.

Unfortunately the guy doesn't do static clings. I would consider these as window mounts only, since that would be less problematical removing them sometime in the future.

I hope to hell I don't regret doing this when I stand back and eyeball the results..........

As for the font selection, the guy sent me a page full of examples, and the two I showed were what my wife and I considered as the best of the group. I played around briefly with my own font collection, but honestly, I could spend my entire life trying each and every font to see how it looks. Then when you curve the lettering, it could change the entire thing. That top one was originally in italicized format which looked fine straight across, but REALLY sucked when it was curved.

Surprisingly enough, my wife is all for this. Or at least not visibly against it. I would have thought she would blow a head gasket when I told her I was going to do this bone headed idea.....

I like the top one also. I tried to do something with the Corvette font, but it seems to only come in upper case and it doesn't look as nice as yours. Nice job
