Road Trip!!!
 Well, lets set up a St Augustine trip SOON!
We've been jonesing to go back for some time now  .
Oh, and Heck yeah  we're interested in taking a trip to Amelia Island and possibly to the Henderson Park Inn. But, we'll need an idea as to when so that we can make arrangements. 
Btw, We noticed that the Henderson had some special rates (during the week) for the months Nov - Feb.

Connie and I have been trying to just sit down and figure out WHEN we want to plan some things. Got to fit them around the few shows we want to do in the next couple of months. But to be honest, if a roadtrip and show conflict, the roadtrip will have priority.
Plus we just have to see how this gasoline shortage thing plays out. There are a bunch of stations around here just flat OUT.
But in any event, we just need to pack our bags and get the hell out of here for a while.

Yeah, there were a few places around here that ran out but, there are still plenty with fuel.  Heck, we went down south to St Pete yesterday and the day before (on business), and had NO trouble finding gas.
FWIW, I just called the Inn on Charlotte and Chris said they Weren't having any gas issues there.

Ray, since you all want to go to St. Augustine SOON, we should make plans right away. This includes you too, Gordon. We are available during October, at the soonest, but could go during the winter months also.
We should make arrangements for the Henderson Park Inn also; keeping in mind that the temperatures are much cooler here in the panhandle than central Florida during the winter.
As far as the Amelia Island deal - we are thinking about driving up that way just to check it out. This may happen next weekend and we would be spending just one night in the area. We want to check out some of the Bed and Breakfast accommodations and the parking situations for each place so in the near future we can go back for a longer stay. Once we know for certain we will be driving out there, anyone at all wanting to meet up with us is certainly welcome to do so.
OK Rich, you can stop twisting my arm now.....
