Just got registered! See you there!!
Last year we met at the McDonalds parking lot so we could drive in together. Let's think about that again for this year, ok? :dancer01:

Was planning to register but changed my mind when I found out it was people's choice. Hope you guys have a good time up there...

I thank you for your vote Backyard Mechanic. Likewise to you. Looking forward to seeing you at the Pier or Venice...

Yup, our vettes wouldn't win anything here. I don't even bother to show it. I just go for the fun and to visit with folks and spend the day. We've got friends who live up there and quite a few of the folks from this forum will be going this year. I'll get to meet some I have missed in the past :yesnod:

Hey Armondo,

Everybody has there own opinion on this sort of thing. I showed my '69 for years and frankly got burned out on judged shows. So, although I will still occassionally enter a judged show, I much prefer a people's choice show. I have less people crawling all over my car and to be honest, I really don't care whether I ever win another trophy. To me a people's choice show is just more casual and gives you more time to meet and greet other Corvette people.

Rich

Ya know, I look at it this way, I come to the shows to hang-out, meet new people and try to have a good time. I enter mostly so I can park in the good spot instead of several blocks away. As far as judging goes, it's like picking a pair of shoes, some folks like sneakers while others prefer loafers, some like heels and others like flip-flops.

Maybe next year...I will be showing at the Vette Together the following day in Bonita Springs... Dont want to burn out too early into the show season...
