Default C5 Brake Rotor Upgrade

Confirmed that you can use the C6 Z51 rotor (which is larger then the stock C5 rotor) with the C5 Z06 stock rims 17/18 front and back. You will also need the C6 mounting bracket. The calipers are the same.

As far as stock C5 rims that is still waitinig to be confimerd. Seems doubtful though. But what a lot of guys have done is go to 18s all around and then your good. I'll update this post once I find out if the 17 stock rims work or not. Either way, this is my next upgrade before my next horsepower add on.

Why is this post worthy you may ask? You gain an inch in rotor size front and back at a significant cost savings over aftermarket brakes. I think we are going to find more and more things that work on the C5 from the C6. God I love GM.
