Ok, I am putting my Vette up for sale.... I love the car, but after new car shopping the other day with my GF, I got the itch as well.... SOOOOOOO, before anyone criticizes me for asking to much, or saying that my values for the vehicle are to high, I want you to know that I am very flexible in the price, however since I love the car, I just want to make it worth it for me to sell it. For sale is my 1985 Corvette.
This vehicle is a 1996 CORVETTE GRAND SPORT CLONE.
Cloning was done by previous owner.
Book Value of a stock 1985 Corvette ranges from 6,000-15,000.
Original power-train. 350ci TPI motor, with Automatic Trans 700r4
MOTOR runs great, and TRANS shifts beautifully.
Everything upgraded from 1985 stuff to 1996 items.
Interior is also updated with legit SPECIAL EDITION/Grand Sport seats.
Most of the dash works, conversion caused some issues with some of the things working.
Previous owner advised me mileage on chassis and power-train was 90k when I purchased it in 11/2011. However the updated dash reads much higher.
Vehicle does need TLC, however if you are like me and have loved the corvette Grand Sport, this is one way of having one, without worrying about having a RARE vehicle.
NEGATIVES:
-fiberglass issues in the upper quarters.
-some wiring issues that were not done completely right , but work.
-wipers removed, because I burned out the wiper motor.
