yea i saw that post on cf and was wondering about that guy too. a tuner with no dyno? lets get in the car and drive it and play with it until you think it feels faster? i did that with my timing on my c3 with a 383 in it (no computer). i was always told heat makes hp but you want fuel and air as cold as possible coming in. this guy just sounded like a scam artist to me. i cant see paying him and not knowing what i got out of the deal besides a 160 stat. for all i know he might use a set of preset tunes to flash in, the first being the slowest and slowly add more powerful tunes in as you drive around making you think he has really done something. i want numbers that i can see baseline then finish. i think i will stick with the known people that have built businesses on a reputation. at least if it is not right i know where to go to find them to fix it.

It sounds logical to me too. Hot engine, cool fuel & air - more horse power and thermal efficiency.

I am not sure why CF is so fussy with the "rights" of the supporting tuners and chose to close down threads for what sometimes seems like no reason when it is not a paying member. I'm not complaining, I like CF, but I sometimes wonder about inconsistencies with the rules.

CF is a BIG site with a lot of moderators. They each may have their own ideas about things which may not seem consistent on the surface (or even at all). And sometimes members expect the mods to be omniscient in that they must know every thread and every post made on the entire site. I get slammed all the time on my largest site because I may ding one person for a rule infraction while someone else in another thread did the same thing and got away with it. But I never READ that other post. CF has a lot of posts taking place, and it is highly impractical for every one to be read by one of the mods.

But in any event, I personally do not believe the premise that paying sponsors can do no wrong to the detriment of the members at large. I believe that a spade SHOULD be called a spade, no matter who is doing the calling or who is being the one called out. The paying sponsors may be putting money in your pocket, but a site IS the members, first and foremost.

Nothing else Corvette related. My business is breeding reptiles and I also have an interest in guns.

My main business site is here -> http://www.SerpenCo.com

The other site I run with the most traffic is animal related, mostly geared towards reptiles -> http://www.FaunaClassifieds.com/forums

Hmm, what is the purpose of that MIN and MAX for the Stage 1 fan? Does that mean that it only works between 30 and 35 mph or am I reading that wrong? Seems to me the most common overheating situation would be when you are just creeping along in traffic at under 10 mph or so.
