The blips in power subsided- that's good.

Winds picking up here a bit, and rain just about constant now. Seeing yellow bands heading our way on the weather radar.
11 o'clock track forecast is showing Irma staying over land and sustained winds down to 100 mph. Barometric pressure is rising pretty rapidly now, so the kryptonite is working.

Yeah, I can see on the weather radar where you are apparently in a sizable break in the bands. I think Irma coming on land during nighttime hours is helping to knock the stuffings out of it. And likely that cool air being sucked down from the north is helping to put the brakes on that storm's heat engine too.
But still, a tornado spawning in your back yard could still sure ruin your day.
