Default June 1, 2019 possible tropical system in the Gulf

Long term forecasts are showing a possible development of a tropical storm system in the Gulf of Mexico. Bears keeping an eye on it.

Granted, it IS a week and a half away and it IS a forecast, but Ventusky seems to be relatively accurate about such things.

Just hope it comes my way. I would love 6" of rain and 50mph winds.

False alarm. Ventusky isn't showing anything developing in their long term forecast now....

Unfortunately that is also showing NO precipitation here in north Florida in the foreseeable future too. Things are getting awfully dry around here.

June will be very dry as the high will not move for weeks.

Well, it looks like that disturbance is bringing a lot of rain into Texas, and then moving eastward towards the north Florida area over the weekend. Got some cooler temps coming along with it too.
