Default Just Got My ACI Splitter Back

I just got my ACI Splitter back from Pat @ American Hydro Carbon and another fine job. I realize that there is a real Carbon Fiber splitter now available called the Vortex and it is n ACI knockoff, but I already had the ACI and I did not want to invest in another splitter when I knew Pat would do this one.
So here are a few pictures of it. I will take a few more shots later today or tomorrow as I cannot get the car out of the garage because a tree service is taking down a 30 year old Oak tree in my yard.

PS, the car is up on jack stands not setup for off roading!

Is that for a C5? If so it is the first one I have heard of. All the vendors that I have seen only carry CF Splitters for the C6.

Looks pretty sharp!

I would be afraid of scraping it off with the speed bumps and sharp inclines on driveways around here, though.... My C5Z used to scrape the front end fairly often if I wasn't real careful on uneven pavement...

Have you measured to see how much lower that lip will be compared to a stock spoiler?

Not being a smart ass, but if it came from a hydrocarbon shop, its more then likely an overlay. Which is prolly the best/cheapest thing to do for a part of the car that takes the most exterior beating. When I had the C6, I could not understand/justify guys spending more then 600 bucks on a piece that most guys bought just for looks....cause they weren't getting the use it was intended for. "but its carbon fiber it will make my car lighter"....can make something lighter when you just added weight to something.. <--that would have been my justification reply heh.

But it is a sweet looking piece, for a period of time I wanted to have my wheels done in hydrocarbon. 360Forged look without spending a down payment on a house lol.

What I was meaning was it a real carbon fiber overlay or one of those water transfer printed deals? If I really wanted to, I guess I could Google "American Hydro Carbon". Not being a smart ass but when I think of hydrocarbon I think of fuel, because that is what it is....
