Default Zr1 Gets Full Front Covered - New Film

Hello. I wanted to share a recent install that we recently did on a 2012 zr1.

About a year ago Xpel came out with this new film called Xpel Ultimate. We've been using and testing since it came out. This film is by far the best i've seen since starting this business 12 years ago. The film looks identical to paint, sometimes even better. The real bonus on this film besides coming in a 60" wide roll is the film is self healing. You can literally scratch the film and then sun will repair the film from scratches and swirl marks.
Watch this video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...=fUqzFvRw4-A#!

Attached are some pictures of the full install. Most of this was a custom install to help hide seams and edges.

Enjoy the pictures. If anyone has any questions we will be happy to answer them.

Thanks
Ryan Burroughs

How much is this film? Is it an easy installation?

Very nice results. Cost? Is it a DIY or does a pro need to do the work to get a great finish?

Hello. Yes 100%, find a good installer to do the work. There are a lot of bad ones so be carefule.

Costs can vary. Full Hood, Full Fenders, Bumper, Headlights, Mirrors average cost is around $2k. Most people just do the bumper, headlights, Mirrors which would cost around 650-700. Rockers usually anywhere from 150-380 depending on coverage sections.

If you go to www.xpel.com you can see the patterns available and an approximate cost on some of the items.

Thank You

I vouch for Ryan. He is very picky and excellent at what he does. I don't think you 'll find a more qualified installer and detailed gentleman in the Tampa area. Just my .02 worth. He's woth every penny.
