Default Well, we bailed....

Well, Connie and I had intended to attend the show, but today just didn't go as planned.. All the signs were bad. We got a late start, the C5Z wouldn't start with a dead battery, felt like the emergency brake was stuck when we took off initially, the car idled way low, and then the fuel pressure gauge gauge was showing zero psi. We were on the road for about 45 minutes and decided to just can the whole idea. Wasn't much fun waiting for the next shoe to drop the whole time driving. I think the car didn't want to go out there and was making it known. I'm REAL big on omens and Connie is just as bad!

I think the fuel pressure gauge problem was caused by me pinching a wire from the sending unit when I replaced the fuel rail covers. I pulled the cover off on the driver's side, saw the pinched wire, re-routed it, and all was good.

As for the other problems.... Been having a problem with the battery dying if I don't drive the car for more than a week. The emergency brake problem is new, so I'll have to see if it becomes a recurring problem. The idle seemed to just straighten itself out on its own.

Were looking forward to the Sandestin show, but it just wasn't meant to be, I guess. Who knows, maybe the car just knew something BAD was going to happen.....
